 DAY 2 : BANGKOK

 It is a must. It is a city within a city,
 where Thai Monarchs Resided for almost two centuries.
  It is surrounded by white walls.
 Within it, is the Private Chapel of H.M. the King.
 Here is where the Emerald Buddha is placed.
 The most significant shrine, carved out from translucent Jade.

 DAY 4 : BANGKOK

 Visit the Floating Market at Damnoen Saduak which is located at Ratchaburi province
 where you will board a long-tailed boat to join the busy activities of
 the large floating market which offers a great variety of products
 from its small boats padding around the canals.

 Afterwards, continue on to Kanchanaburi,
 the most renowned sight of one of the most tragically crime during the war.

 This afternoon we are pleased to introduce you to the first ever experience in your lifetime -
 bathing and playing with tame and domesticated elephants on the River Kwai.
 As the first introduction to each other between you and Thailand's most highly adored animals,
 you will definitely welcome a chance to give elephants a good scrub under a close supervision of their mahouts and help from local guides.
 After a lot of fun playing with elephants, continue the safari with elephant riding through the woodland along the River Kwai.

 You will be back to the camp to enjoy and relax during a BBQ time in a natural setting on the riverbank.
 You will be transferred back to the hotel after this wonderful time.

 DAY 5 : BANGKOK

 DAY 6 : BANGKOK

 Depart from Kanchanaburi for the drive to Khao Yai National Park, Thailand's oldest and best well known nature sanctuary for decades.
 Being the second largest National Park in Thailand,
 right now Khao Yai National Park has been designated a World Heritage.

 Arrive Khao Yai, and after check-in at your hotel, rest of time at your own leisure

 DAY 7 : BANGKOK

 After breakfast, take a local transportation (open-air) for short trekking in Khao Yai National Park,
 enjoy the beauty and wonders of the forest and look for animals such as gibbons, hornbills, macaques and may bird species
 with stop at Haew Suwat Waterfall.
 Stop for lunch at restaurant (simple local lunch)

 Continue to see the stalagmites and stalactites in an underground cave where you will also learn about Buddhism.
 Watch the bats that wake up around sunset and leave their cave in swarms. Return to the hotel.

 DAY 8 : BANGKOK

 DAY 9 : CHIANG RAI

 Drive up to the Mae Fah Luang botanical garden in Doi Tung (King’s Mother Palace).
 Visit de Royal Chalet. Then by road to the Golden Triangle.
 Lunch at “La Vallee”that is situated in the countryside in a farmer village.
 Very nice place with comfortable atmosphere and very good traditional Thai food.
 In the afternoon visit the Hall of Opium and finally the old city of Chiang Saen with a ride on the Mekong River for an hour.

 DAY 10 : CHIANG RAI/PAI

 Drive to Thaton , visit Lisu village nearby Thaton and then continue to Chiang Dao Cave , see many Buddha Statues inside the cave.

 DAY 11 : PAI / MAE HONG SON

 Check-out and departure for Mae Hong Son’s winding and scenic mountain road, through the Pai and Soppong districts.
 Probably the most scenic ride in Northern Thailand.
 Stop for a visit at Tham Lod by rafting.
 Continue to visit Long-neck Karen hilltribe village at Nai Soi village by long-tail boat (1 hour) and elephant ride.

 DAY 12 : MAE HONG SON / CHIANG MAI

 Visit the city and temples in Mae Hong Son;
 Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu located at the hilltop dominates the provincial city and constructed by Phaya Singhanatracha,
 the first King of Mae Hong Son, the hilltop temple affords a wonderful view of the city and surrounding mountains and valleys,
 Wat Chong Klang & Wat Chong Khum houses glass, paintings and woodcarvings brought from Myanmar some 100 years ago.

 DAY 13 : CHIANG MAI / MAEKHAMPONG / CHIANG MAI

 Ban Mae Kampong is a typical Northern Thai village, located at 50 km northeast of Chiang Mai city along the Mae On- Huai Kaew Road.
 It possesses a unique Northern Thai culture. Local villagers speak Northern Thai dialect and identify themselves as khonmuang,
 a separate ethnic group from the central Thai.
 They have their own traditional customs.

 Depart from your hotel in Chiangmai.
 Arrive the village, start trekking for one hour and a half through tea, coffee plantation and see the villagers working in their fields.
 Walking through the forest of tree “ Por Tae “ or Klitsana tree which we use for herb and it can be used for making "incense" sticks.
 Then walk 30 minutes to Maekampong Waterfall, originated from the natural stream in Ban Mae Kampong.
 It is divided into seven levels. On the top of the scenery of the mountain range can be seen.
 Back to the village for lunch and afternoon, walk around the villages to observe their way of life and occupation group:
 the traditional music group, the housewives group, the herbal medicine group, the traditional massage group,
 the bamboo weaving group, and the black-smith group.

 DAY 14 : CHIANG MAI

 Very early (06.30 hrs.) depart from your hotel to participate at the daily traditional “TAK BAT”.
 The purpose is the offer food to the Monk.
 From Wat Sri Soda the guide will prepare the food, lotus flower and you will offer those to the young novices who walk down
 from the temple in a long queue;
 sometimes there are more than 200 monks.
 Then drive to up the hill of Doi Suthep to visit the temple with the same name with an unrestricted view.

 Back to the hotel for breakfast.

 Rest of the morning free program.

 In the afternoon visit Chiang Mai handicraft centre.
 The highlight is to see the local people making the handicraft including Lacquerware, Silverware, Hand-woven Textiles by silk
 and hand-painted cotton,
 fine Teak Wood Carving, and Umbrellas or paper parasols which are hand-painted in various designs.
